ReplyDeleteMy name is Zbigniew Miecznikowski and I'm wondering if Ludwik Miecznikowski, brother of my grandfather, who died around 1870 ( need to be verified ), could be your relative? My roots come from northern Mazovia. The oldest ancestor is Tomasz Miecznikowski, who married Marianna Piotrkowska. They lived in middle of XVII century.

I'd love to compare notes. I have been away from this account for some time now, but would like to get back into doing more genealogy. I haven't been able to trace my family line that far back, but as there aren't too many Miecznikowskis that I could find, I am hoping we can make family connections.
